MbThread Thread Graphic Symbol

The MbThread class is declared in the mb_thread.h file.

The MbThread thread graphic symbol is defined by the local thread coordinate system place, the initial thread radius on the surface radObj, the initial thread radius inside the body radThr, the thread length length, the thread taper angle angle, the thread name name, and the set of bodies bodies. The object also has some additional data that is not mandatory and is used to speed up the operation of the object methods.

The axis of the threaded connection is directed along the place.axisZ axis. The name is used to identify the thread graphic symbol among planar projections of the faces of bodies in the bodies set. The thread graphic symbol is shown in Fig. 1.

The thread graphic symbol describes an element of the threaded connection of the geometric model and is used to construct planar projections of threaded connections.
