Constructing a Curve from a Set of Edges

The function

template <typename ConstEdgeVector, typename OrientsVector>
MbCurve3D * CreateJoinedCurve( const ConstEdgeVector &  edges,
                               const OrientsVector &    orients,
                               const MbMatrix3D &       matr,
                                     MbResultType &     res );

constructs a curve from a set of edges lying on a joint surface for subsequent use in the JoinShell operation.

The input parameters of the function are:

  • edges — a set of edges (a container of constant pointers to edges);

  • orients — a container of Boolean flags that define directions of using the corresponding edges from edges (the container size must match the number of edges);

  • matr — a transformation matrix of edges (the edges are preliminarily transformed by this matrix before constructing the curve).

The output parameter of the function is the value res of the MbResultType enumeration.

If the function succeeds, it returns a pointer to the constructed curve; otherwise it returns a null pointer.

The function is declared in the action_shell.h file.
