C3D Modeler

The C3D Modeler module performs all geometric computations required to construct 2D sketches and 3D models. To describe the shape of a modeled object, C3D Modeler uses a boundary representation of geometry, where the model is built from three-dimensional solids created with surfaces and curves. The solids are then grouped into assemblies, and these assemblies are used to form assemblies of the next level.

Along with the boundary representation of the model, C3D Modeler supports a polygonal representation of geometry. Elements of polygonal models are approximation objects composed of plates and polygons. Such models are used for calculations and visualization.

Objects of a geometric model, such as B-Rep solids, polygonal objects, and wireframe models, are provided with construction histories that store the methods, their order, and the input data required to construct the objects.

A construction history allows you to edit a geometric model and rebuild the model with new parameters. Information about the model geometry in the form of surfaces, curves, and points is stored in topological elements of model objects such as faces, edges, and vertices.

Additional information for each element of a model object and for the object as a whole can be stored in them as attributes.

For license activation of the module, call the EnableMathModules() function with the appropriate parameters.
