GEOMETRICAL OBJECTS

Geometric objects describe the shape of modeled entities. They include curves, surfaces, solids, as well as topological entities that represent geometric properties independent of quantitative characteristics and capture the continuous connectivity of points in three-dimensional space. Geometric objects can be three-dimensional or two-dimensional. Two-dimensional objects are used when working in the parameter domains of surfaces and in planes of three-dimensional local coordinate systems. This section describes the base classes of geometric objects.
