Point Radius Vector in Two-Dimensional Space MbCartPoint

The MbCartPoint() class is declared in the mb_cart_point.h file.

The radius vector of MbCartPoint() (a Cartesian point) defines the position of a point in two-dimensional space and is specified by two coordinates x and y in a Cartesian coordinate system. The radius vector describes the transformation that moves the origin of the Cartesian coordinate system to the point in space with the given coordinates in this Cartesian coordinate system. To denote points in two-dimensional space we will use one or several lowercase Latin letters in bold italics, and to combine the point coordinates we will enclose them in square brackets, for example,

\begin{equation} \mathbf{point} = [x \ y]. \end{equation}

Unlike a vector, a radius vector is bound to the origin. The coordinates of the radius vector MbCartPoint() and the components of the MbVector vector change in different ways when switching from one coordinate system to another and when changing the position in space, which is implemented in the methods:

void Transform( const MbMatrix & );

void Rotate( const MbCartPoint & , double angle );

void Move( const MbVector & ).
