Checking a Curve for Joint Body Construction

The function

void CheckJoinedCurve( const MbCurve3D &  curve1,
                       const MbCurve3D &  curve2,
                             bool &       isInverted1,
                             bool &       isShifted1,
                             VERSION      version )

checks the second curve for consistency with the first curve for creation of an open joint body and determines whether it is necessary to invert and/or shift the beginning of the second curve for correct construction of the joint body.

The input parameters of the function are:

  • curve1 — the first curve;

  • curve2 — the second curve;

  • version — the version of the operation.

The output parameters of the function are:

  • isInverted1 — a flag that is set to true on output if the second curve must be used in the reverse direction with respect to the original one during construction;

  • isShifted1 — a flag that is set to true on output if the beginning of parametrization of the second curve must be shifted (reparametrized) during construction in order to be aligned with the first curve.

The function has no return value.

The function is declared in the action_shell.h file.

The function is an auxiliary function for the JoinShell() function that constructs an open joint body by two curves.
