MbVector in Two-Dimensional Space

The MbVector() class is declared in the mb_vector.h file.

The MbVector() vector describes a displacement or a direction in two-dimensional space and is defined by two components x and y in a Cartesian coordinate system.

To denote vectors in two-dimensional space, we will use one or several lowercase Latin letters in bold italic typeface, and we will enclose the vector components in square brackets, for example,

\begin{equation} \mathbf{v} = [x, y]. \end{equation}

The MbVector() vector is not bound to points in space, and therefore it does not have a method that moves it in space.
