C3D Labs in Press

Five years ago, C3D Labs (a division of ASCON Group) had just one customer, KOMPAS-3D. Today they have more than 20 customers in areas of MCAD, AEC, CAM, furniture design, and so on. If western CAD firms rely on Russian programmers, then maybe it's not so bad for Western design firms to rely on Russian software.

As a design engineer, we always have enthusiasm to know what runs behind our CAD, CAM, CAE tools. Most of us have heard the term “geometric kernel” but aren’t sure what it is or why it’s important. Most readers (CAD, CAE engineers) may be wondering what this means or how and why we would use it when modeling.
