C3D Labs Increases Its Talent Pool with New Hires

Kolomna, Russia and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia: 18 November, 2016 – C3D Labs is pleased to announce that it hired three new specialists to join its C3D kernel development team. A growing number of customers and the expanding range of tasks mean that the size of our team must increase. The new employees will be developing functions for the C3D Toolkit and helping to optimize existing code for the four C3D components.

Please join us in welcoming our new employees!

Alexander Gircha

Alexander joins the C3D Modeler geometric kernel development team in Kolomna. He graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty at Lomonosov Moscow State University and obtained PhD degree in the field of Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods and Software Systems.

Prior to joining C3D Labs, Alexander worked as a researcher at the MSU Institute of Mechanics where he was involved in developing and optimizing algorithms for mathematical modeling of unsteady hydrodynamic processes. He participated in the VortexCell2050 project devoted to research and development of control systems for airflows around thick airfoils using trapped-vortex technology.

Andrey Tumanin

Andrey is appointed Programmer-Mathematician in the new C3D Labs office in Nizhny Novgorod. He graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty at Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University. In 2012, he got the PhD degree of Technical Sciences. His dissertation subject was “Mathematical Modeling of Static and Dynamic of Ballonet Type Skirt of Air Cushion Vehicle.”

Andrey worked several years for the Aerohod Shipbuilding Company, where he solved issues related to dynamics and seaworthiness of amphibious vehicles. He participated in research projects for developing advanced vehicles.

Tatiana Mitina

Tatiana is the head of our new programming department at C3D Labs in Nizhny Novgorod. She graduated from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod with a degree in the Applied Mathematics and began her career at the Research Institute for Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics.

Tatiana has an extensive background in different areas of software development. In 1998, Tatiana joined NSTL (Nizhny Novgorod Software Technology Laboratory) where she developed modules for IntelliCAD. From 2000 to 2016, Tatiana worked at the Intel Nizhny Novgorod Laboratory (INNL) and was involved in development of wide range of software products. As a technical leader, Tatiana participated in the development of dynamic analysis tools in Intel Parallel Studio, such as Intel VTune Amplifier (the performance profiler), Intel Advisor (the tool for vectorization optimization and thread prototyping), and Intel Inspector (the tool for finding memory and threading errors). Tatiana possesses deep knowledge of software development life cycle and vast experience in implementing and coordinating the agile software development process.

About C3D Labs

C3D Labs specializes in the technology-intensive market of PLM components. The company develops and markets the C3D Toolkit used by developers of CAD systems and educational institutions worldwide. In 2013, C3D Labs became a resident of Skolkovo, Russia’s state development office park.

Computer-aided design systems are the most widely known software in which components, like C3D, are typically used. As a critical software development tool, C3D is today the only modeling kit that incorporates all four modules crucial to CAD – 2D/3D modeling, 2D/3D constraint solving, 3D visualization, and 2D/3D file conversion.
