C3D Labs Presents at CAD White Nights 2016 Forum

C3D Labs Helps Autodesk Inventor Users to Handle 3D Data
Novosibirsk, Russia and Widnau, Switzerland: May 12, 2016 – LEDAS, a C3D Labs customer and partner, has announced that CAD Software Solutions (Switzerland) has licensed LGC technology for comparison of three-dimensional CAD models and has integrated it into the new plug-in for Autodesk Inventor. This software is expected to arrive on the market later this year. Inventor users will get an easy-to-use tool to compare 3D models in the CAD system itself.

The Real History of the C3D Kernel from Alexander Alakhverdyants
C3D Labs this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its C3D geometric kernel. Twenty years ago the founders of ASCON Group made the decision to begin writing a new mechanical CAD system, today known as KOMPAS-3D. To power the system, the company established a team to write a 3D kernel good enough to compete with foreign kernels in operability and functions. This is where the history of the "Kolomna" geometric kernel begins.

C3D Labs Upgrades Software Development Toolkit for 2016
C3D Labs is pleased to announce that it has updated the portfolio of components for engineering software development. In version 2016, a brand-new C3D Visualization module joins the C3D Geometric kernel, C3D Parametric kernel, and C3D Conversion module. Also new is the ability of customers to license each module separately, or as a complete C3D Toolkit. This unbundling gives software developers the freedom to choose the most suitable combination of tools for their projects.
