.. role:: blue :class: blue TWO-DIMENSIONAL CURVE CONSTRUCTION METHODS ========================================== .. _TWO-DIMENSIONAL_CURVE_CONSTRUCTION_METHODS_: Two-dimensional curves are used to describe domain of definition for a surface, to work with curves on surfaces, to construct curves as intersection of surfaces, and to construct mating surfaces. In order to construct solid bodies, two-dimensional curves are used as input parameters as sketch elements. Furthermore, two-dimensional curves are used as elements of flat projections in geometric models. All two-dimensional curves are inheritors of :blue:`MbCurve` class, they are described in section :ref:`TWO-DIMENSIONAL CURVES ` . A curve can be constructed by direct call of corresponding constructor or using the functions described in this section. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 subsections/EN/Constructing_a_Two-Dimensional_Straight_Line_Segment subsections/EN/Constructing_a_Two-Dimensional_Circle,_Ellipse_and_their_Arcs subsections/EN/Constructing_Two-Dimensional_NURBS_Curve subsections/EN/Constructing_a_Regular_Polygon subsections/EN/Constructing_Two-Dimensional_Cosine_Wave subsections/EN/Constructing_Two-Dimensional_Compound_Curve subsections/EN/Constructing_Surface_and_Plane_Intersection_Curves subsections/EN/Constructing_Two-Dimensional_Face_Edge_Curve subsections/EN/Projecting_a_Curve_on_a_Surface .. sections/RU/Constructing_Two-Dimensional_Curves_Based_on_Control_Points
