.. role:: blue :class: blue MbWireFrame Wireframe ===================== .. _MbWireFrame_Wireframe_: .. kernel version: The :blue:`MbWireFrame` class is declared in the *wire_frame.h* file. The :blue:`MbWireFrame` wireframe is derived from the :ref:`MbItem ` class and is described by a set of edges std::vector< :ref:`MbEdge ` * > **edges**, the number of connected parts *parts*, and the flag indicating the absence of boundary vertices *closed*. A wireframe is a set of edges that are joined to each other at vertices and describe the frame structure of the modeled object. A wireframe may describe one or several connected sets of points. The number of connected parts *parts* indicates whether the frame describes a single connected set of points or whether the frame describes several connected sets of points and can be split into several wireframes. Depending on whether boundary vertices are absent or present, a wireframe will be called *closed* or *open*. Fig. 1 shows a closed wireframe. .. figure:: /MODELER/OBJECTS_OF_GEOMETRIC_MODEL/pictures/O.8.3.1.png :width: 12cm :align: center Fig. 1 An open wireframe is shown in Fig. 2. .. figure:: /MODELER/OBJECTS_OF_GEOMETRIC_MODEL/pictures/O.8.3.2.png :width: 12cm :align: center Fig. 2 Fig. 3 shows an open wireframe consisting of two connected sets of edges: .. figure:: /MODELER/OBJECTS_OF_GEOMETRIC_MODEL/pictures/O.8.3.3.png :width: 12cm :align: center Fig. 3 Fig. 4 shows a closed wireframe consisting of two connected sets of edges: .. figure:: /MODELER/OBJECTS_OF_GEOMETRIC_MODEL/pictures/O.8.3.4.png :width: 12cm :align: center Fig. 4 A wireframe can be used for constructing trajectories, spatial sketches, and for auxiliary constructions.
