.. role:: blue :class: blue CURVE CONSTRUCTION METHODS ========================== .. _CURVE_CONSTRUCTION_METHODS_: Curves are used as building blocks to construct surfaces. Curves are used to join surfaces with each other. Curves form a basis to construct faces used in solid body models and wireframe models. In some cases curves act as reference objects to position other elements of a geometric model. All curves are the :blue:`MbCurve3D` class inheritors and are described in section :ref:`CURVES `. The curves can be constructed by directly calling the corresponding constructors or using the methods described in this section. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 subsections/EN/Constructing_a_Line_and_a_Segment subsections/EN/Constructing_a_Circle,_an_Ellipse_And_Their_Arcs subsections/EN/Construction_of_a_Regular_Polygon subsections/EN/Compound_Curve_Construction subsections/EN/Сurve_Extension subsections/EN/Wireframe_Extension .. subsections/RU/Constructing_Curves_Based_on_Control_Points subsections/RU/NURBS_Curve_Construction subsections/RU/Spiral_Construction subsections/RU/Wireframe_Construction subsections/RU/Curve_Projection_onto_a_Surface subsections/RU/Construction_of_Surface_Intersection_Curves subsections/RU/Silhouette_Curve_Construction subsections/RU/Constructing_a_Curve_Mating_Curve
